TCEQ Opens $24M Seaport and Rail Yard Emissions Reduction Program

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is accepting applications for the Seaport and Rail Yard Areas Emissions Reduction Program, with $24 million in funding available to reduce nitrogen oxides emissions at seaports and rail yards located in the state's air quality non-attainment areas, the agency announced in an Aug. 5 news release.

Texas Transportation Commission to Consider Next Phase of North Houston Highway Project, Grand Parkway Toll Designations

The Texas Transportation Commission will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 30, in Austin to consider authorizing the next procurement step for a major segment of the North Houston Highway Improvement Project, designating additional portions of State Highway 99 as toll roads and discussing the agency's next Legislative Appropriations Request. The commission will meet at the Dewitt C. Greer Building, 125 E. 11th St., in Austin.
