The Texas Oil & Gas Association published its June 2026 Month in Review on July 1, recapping a month of advocacy on behalf of the Texas oil and natural gas industry.
The roundup, posted to the association’s website, points readers to TXOGA’s latest employment snapshot, which showed Texas oil and gas upstream jobs increased by 400 in April to reach 193,200, according to the association’s jobs chart. That figure is up from a September 2020 low of 157,000, the chart shows.
The review also features the June edition of TXOGA’s Monthly Energy Economics Review, the association’s recurring report on energy economics, along with a new Safety Talks installment on right-of-way awareness. That safety briefing, an initiative of the TXOGA Workers’ Compensation Safety Group, covers the dos and don’ts for working safely within oilfield rights-of-way, according to the association.
Rounding out the month’s highlights is the association’s TXOGA Talks podcast. TXOGA, founded in 1919, publishes its Month in Review each month to summarize the association’s advocacy, data releases, and member programming.
